TASOL Post Graduate Diploma (Module A & B)

Arabic is the official language of over 22 countries and there are well over 400 million native speakers of the language. It is also an official language of the United Nations, the Arab League, Organization of Islamic Conference, and the African Union. Since the Iraq’s liberation and the Open Business Concept introduction in Dubai, thousands of Westerners have started doing business with the Middle East. With the growing importance of the Middle East & Egypt in international affairs, learning the Arabic language and culture has become an important tool for businesses and there is an extreme shortage of workers in the West who are versed in Arabic linguistics. To add to that importance, there is the need of preserving Arabic language among the new Arabic communities’ youngsters and children around the world. Although Arabic Teaching Skills and educational programs have long been existing in forms of Bachelor, Master or Traditional Religious Education, but TESOL Canada is the founder of TASOL in global scale since 1995. TASOL program provides detailed teaching skills required to teach Arabic in certification format. Sponsored by TESOL CANADA, TASOL is now available through TESOL USA in the United States and global community. Teaching the rules of Arabic grammar & Conversation can be extremely challenging if instructors do not have the proper training. Since native Arabic speakers learn grammar incidentally, many teachers find it easy to make grammatical corrections but difficult to explain the grammatical rules behind them. The TASOL Diploma Program provides students with a thorough understanding of different aspects of grammar and enables them to learn the techniques to teach this subject effectively in a classroom. In this course students will find concepts set in an interesting and humorous tone to provide an effective and unique learning experience.
